Biography of Caz Kennedy
Caz Kennedy was born in the Midwest of the United States. In 1988 she moved to England to work as a Lecturer in several London colleges. Caz has always written short stories but in 2000, she decided to work toward writing screenplays / film making as a career.
In 2009 she became an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner due to a severe back problem she has recently ceased her position as a part-time co-owner of 'Oswald Kennedy Productions,' with her business partner Michael Oswald.
Caz Kennedy also known as Carol Kennedy was the founder and Director of the Wood Green International Short Film Festival, which she started in 2003. The festival has grown from strength to strength each year and has featured celebrities and film industry favourites such as Meera Syal (Goodness Gracious Me), Ray Winstone (SCUM, Nil By Mouth, Sexy Beast), Mike Leigh (Film Director and Writer / Vera Drake, Secrets & Lies) and Henry Cole (Producer and Director / Mad Dogs And Englishmen.)
A regular visitor to the Cannes Film Festival, Caz enjoys meeting and collaborating with others in the industry. She is still looking to have her first feature film made after having made several shorts.
Caz has also acted in many short films and has been the featured voice over artist on many radio adverts including Gillette and VH1.
She has reviewed newspapers on BBC Radio's Joanne Goode’s show and feature as a guest film reviewer for Create TV
